Jeff Holder Builders is committed to providing value to our customers through projects of all types. Our projects typically fall within 3 categories: new construction, remodel, or home maintenance.
New construction jobs typically follow a custom designed plan to meet the owner’s needs and lot specifications. While JHB does not offer home design in house, we are happy to work as a third-party in the design of your home. We believe this is how we provide the greatest value by meeting the design and budget needs of the client as they work with a professional architect or designer of their choice.
In addition to new construction services, remodel projects are becoming an increasing staple of our services as homes and trends transition in our market. We are committed to being a leader in the Lake Keowee and Pickens/Oconee county area, and have completed successful remodels and upgrades to existing homes in the area outside of our new construction services.
We also offer extended maintenance services for clients after construction projects are completed. These services range from weekly home checks to as-needed maintenance. Services can be customized to each property and how the owner uses their home. Extended maintenance is typically more frequent for owners of second homes that are not full-time residences.

Experience Jeff Holder Builders Inc. has been in operation for twenty years. As a residential builder and general contractor, our company has in excess of 150 years of construction experience working in Pickens, Greenville, Oconee, and Anderson counties.
Supervision Supervision Each project at Jeff Holder Builders has a task supervisor. Depending on the scope of work aligned with a project; there may be three to five task supervisors assigned to an individual project. Responsibilities traditionally considered as those of a job superintendent are done directly by Jeff Holder; such as overall supervision of projects, communication with architects, designers, and home owners; site placement, subcontractor scheduling and quality control.
Estimating/Invoicing/Budget Control We have a very accurate estimating system with an extensive database of material and labor costs as well as lateral costs associated with permits, fees, utilities, insurance, clean up, etc. Our process offers clear concise invoicing, budget controls and a time management system for project mileston
Design Jeff Holder Builders offers its greatest value in a design/build relationship. We assist our clients with real time costing through all phases of design, affording them the opportunity to maintain a budget goal. We have experience with numerous architects and designers from across the United States and can assist in the selection process. We also welcome the opportunity to work with a client-selected firm or plan.
Location Our 7,500 square foot facility is located ½ mile off Highway 133; just a few miles from the intersection of Highway 133 and Highway 11. The facility provides administrative offices, conference room, wood shop and material staging areas. This location also provides us a central location from which to manage our projects throughout the Upstate area.
